Monocrystalline Fused Alumina
Product ID: MA
Its main raw material is bauxite, and it is obtained by electrically fused and quickly cooled the materials. It is similar to that of A in color and chemical composition. Its crystal size is very small and it has the characteristics of extra toughness and self sharpening. Grinding wheels made of MA are mainly for snagging operations in steel mills and for heavy-pressure, from and infeed grinding of such materials as stainless steel, carbon steel, bearing steel and ductile cast iron, etc.
