Chiksan Cementing & Circulating Hoses

Chilsan cementing and circulating hoses can handle a complete range of fluids at cold working pressures at 20,000psi. These rugged, all-steel hoses are available in sizes and configurations to meet virtually any need. All materials meet virtually any need. All materials meet ASTM or AISI standards. High-pressure discharge lines, water lines, temporary flow lines, well testing lines, cementing and circulating lines, and other high-pressure applications.

• Chiksan swivel joint connections: FMC all-steel hoses feature Chiksan swivel joints which pride flexibility, absorb shock and vibration, and maximize flow characteristics.
• Weco wing union: Weco wing union end connections insure fast, pressure-tight make-up and break-out without threading, welding or special connections.
• Simplifies folding and transportation: Chiksan hoses fold up easily and quickly for transportation and storage.
• Available for sour gas service: Chiksan cementing and circulating hoses are available for sour gas services at cold working pressures up to 15,000psi.
• Chiksan hose configurations: FMC uses four methods of construction in manufacturing Chiksan hoses. Hose configurations (number of wing unions, number and type of swivel joints) are determined by the method of constructions or methods of construction.
• Threaded ends using API line pipe threads: one Weco union and two style 50 or style 10 Chiksan swivel joints with threaded ends.
• NPS using Weco special non-pressure seal unions: four Weco unions and two style 50 or style 10 Chiksan swivel joints with integral Weco union ends.
• Integral using no threaded, NPS or welded connections: one Weco union and one each one each style 50 and style 10 Chiksan swivel joints with integral Weco union ends or two Weco integral pup joints and two style 50 and style 10 Chiksan swivel joints with integral Weco union ends
• Welded using Weco butt weld unions: four Weco unions and two style 50 or style 10 Chiksan swivel joints. The stated length of a Chiksan hose is the fully extended length of the unfolded hose. The standard length for threaded, NPS, and welded, hose s is 12 feet. The standard length for integral hoses is 9 feet 6 inches. Other lenghts are available. Chiksan cementing and circulating hoses are also available in half-section configurations. Half-section hoses incorporate only one Chiksan swivel join with Weco male by female union ends. The standard length of the comparable full length section.
