Slitting Machine
The slitting machine is used to cut down a coil of material into smaller coils of narrower measure. This process is known as roll slitting, the shearing operation. Materials after this procedure become selectively thin and can be machined in sheet or roll form. In comparison with other method, using slitting machine is considered a more practical alternative, for it has the feature of high productivity and the capability of managing versatile materials. This cutting machine is also called slitter rewinder.
There are three parts consisting of a slitting machine, the rewind, the slitting and the rewind sections. Usually, slitter rewinders are widely applied for slitting films, paper and metal foils. The unwind section is braked to maintain accurate tension in the material. And the slitting section of the slitting machine, namely, is used to slit or cut materials. For the rewind section, Yo Den adopts side friction differential shaft, ensuring an even tension within the material.
