• On conventional cassettes and freewheels, the chain can "ride up" during a gear change. SunRace cassettes and freewheels ease the chain into the right gear quickly and smoothly, so there is less noise and less friction, reducing wear on the cog and chain.
• Cassette and freewheel spacing exactly matches that of Shimano drivetrain systems, simplifying compatibility. SunRace cassette cogs are designed to mount on Shimano-compatible freehubs.
