The electric chimney starter is a great way to get your charcoal burning. Instead of newspaper or lighter cubes, this starter uses an 800w heating element inside to light the charcoals. It takes less than 10 minutes to get your briquettes from cold to ready. It’s large metal cylindrical design will hold 90-100 top leading brand briquettes. The ergonomic grip makes it easy and comfortable to hold and the 2nd handle makes it easy and stable while pouring the briquettes.

Features

Use:
- dry charcoals or briquettes of suitable sizes.
- Put some charcoal or briquettes into the caddy from the top and cover a layer of the charcoals or briquettes on the heating element.
- Connect the Chimney to an electrical outlet with an earthing contact.
- Stack more charcoals or briquettes in the caddy once the layer of the charcoal or briquettes are partially heated.
- After 10-15 minutes, disconnect the unit from the mains.
- Leave the charcoals or briquettes for few minutes in the caddy to make them smoldering.
- Pour the charcoals or briquettes from the top of the caddy. Ensure that the power cord does not touch the caddy with high temperature.
- Place the electric chimney starter away from the barbecue and never put it back onto the heated grill.
- Distribute the smoldering coals on the barbecue.
